JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE BROGUES – BROWN / TAN - UK 7 – KENNET – SUPERB CONDITION
A super pair of vintage,full-brogue derby shoes in scotch-grained calf leather from Joseph Cheaney. They are in superb used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos).
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
But please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!
The style is ‘Kennet III’ – a beautifully proportioned town-and-country derby.
The width fitting is ‘F’ - which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature scotch-grained calf leather uppers, lightweight leather / linen linings and leather soles.
Wonderful quality shoes from a traditional English shoemaker.
