CHURCH’S SPLIT-TOE DERBY – BROWN / TAN – UK 7 – ELLAND – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A super pair of Church’s Custom Grade split-toe apron-front derby shoes in beautiful brown / tan calf leather. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there – including a slight knick on the outer facing vamp of the right shoe, towards the toe (see photos). These shoes feature weather-resistant storm welts, bellows tongues and ‘Vibram’ ‘Commando’ rubber soles – a very handy package in damp conditions. This is quite a rare design to find – so you will be very unlikely to meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a nice feeling in my opinion.
The style is ‘Elland’ – a well-proportioned and practical derby shoe formed on the 133 Last.
The width fitting is ‘G’ - which is the ‘wider-than-standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature ‘Vibram’ ‘Commando’ rubber soles, calf leather uppers, full leather linings, bellows tongues, weather-resistant storm welts and all the quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
