CHURCH’S VINTAGE LOAFERS – BLACK – UK 9 – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A very fine (and extremely rare) pair of vintage, Custom Grade loafers in beautiful black calf leather from Church’s - perfect for dressing-up or dressing-down. They are in excellent used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). This is an extremely rare design to find and so you will be very unlikely to meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a nice feeling I think.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The style is ‘Canopus’ – an elegant loafer built on the 80 Last.
The width fitting is ‘F’ – which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature calf leather uppers, leather soles, full leather linings and offer the usual Church’s build quality.
