JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE DERBY – BLACK - UK 7 – RYE – UNWORN CONDITION
A super vintage pair of Joseph Cheaney’s iconic three-eyelet, plain-front derby shoes in beautiful black calf leather - never out-of-place. They are in superb condition and I have listed them as ‘used’ because they may have been tried-on, but I don’t actually think that they have been. Please note: these shoes are not ‘subs’.
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!
The width fitting is ‘E’ - which is the ‘narrower-than-standard’ width fitting.
The style is ‘Rye’ - a traditional three-eyelet derby – never out-of-place.
The shoes feature leather soles, calf leather uppers and lightweight leather / linen linings.
