JOSEPH CHEANEY DOUBLE MONK STRAP – GREY / GRAPHITE – UK 8 – ABINGDON - EXCELLENT CONDITION
A super (and rare) pair of Joseph Cheaney apron-front double monk strap shoes in beautiful burnished graphite calf leather – perfect for dressing-up or dressing-down. They are in excellent used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). This is a very rare design to find - so, you will be very unlucky to ever meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a nice feeling, I think.
But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!
The style is ‘Abingdon’ – beautifully proportioned with an apron-front and a silver-coloured buckles.
The width fitting is ‘F’ - which is the ‘standard’ fitting (with ‘E’ being the ‘narrower’ width and ‘G’ being ‘wider’).
The shoes feature burnished calf leather uppers, full leather linings and leather soles.
Wonderful quality shoes from a traditional English shoemaker.
