JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE DERBY – BLACK – UK 7 – BROMPTON – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A very fine pair of vintage Joseph Cheaney four-eyelet apron-front derby shoes in beautiful black calf leather. They are in excellent used condition, overall - notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos).
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaneys in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The style is ‘Brompton’ – an elegant and traditional four-eyelet design with a neat square toe-line.
The width fitting is ‘F’ - which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature calf leather uppers, full leather linings and leather soles.
Wonderful quality shoes from a traditional English shoemaker.
