CHURCH’S BROGUES - BROWN - UK 8.5 - ASTLEY – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A very fine (and very rare) pair of Church’s Custom Grade, cap-toe semi-brogue derby shoes in beautiful walnut Nevada calf leather. They are in excellent used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). This pair have been professionally fitted with brand new ‘Vibram’ non-slip rubber over-soles and are unworn since.
The style is ‘Astley’ – very elegant and never out of place; they were built on the 173 Last and could be easily dressed-up or dressed-down. This is a very rare design to find – so you will be very unlucky to ever meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a nice feeling, I think.
The width fitting is ‘F’ – which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature leather soles (with brand new ‘Vibram’ non-slip rubber over-soles), Nevada calf leather uppers, full leather linings and all the build-quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
