CHURCH’S VINTAGE BROGUES – BROWN / TAN - UK 10 – BALFOUR - WORN ONCE
A gorgeous pair of vintage full-brogue oxford shoes in beautiful brown / tan calf leather from Church’s – never out-of-place. They are in superb used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos) – in fact, these vintage shoes are very little worn at all – I would estimate on just one occasion – ever !! This is a very rare design to find and you will be extremely unlucky to ever meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a good feeling, I think.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as /those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The width fitting is ‘F’ – which is the ‘standard’ width fitting. This pair were formed on the popular 73 last.
The shoes feature leather soles, calf leather uppers, lightweight leather / linen linings and all the build-quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
