CHURCH’S VINTAGE OXFORD - BLACK – UK 7 – BALMORAL - UNWORN CONDITION
A super, vintage pair of Church’s iconic Custom Grade cap-toe oxford shoes in beautiful black bookbinder leather. A super example of a Church classic. I have listed them as used because they may have been tried on, but I don’t think that they actually have been. The shoes are in their original box, complete with dust bags.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!
The style is ‘Balmoral’ – a beautifully proportioned and elegant design – formed on the popular 73 Last.
The width fitting is ‘G’ – which is the ‘wider-than-standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature leather soles, bookbinder leather uppers, full leather linings and all the build-quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
