CHURCH’S VINTAGE TASSEL LOAFERS – BROWN / BURGUNDY – UK 9 – KEATS – VERY GOOD CONDITION
A fine, vintage pair of Custom Grade tassel loafers in beautiful burgundy bookbinder leather from Church’s – perfect for dressing-up or dressing-down. They are in very good used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). The shoes have been fitted with rubber over-soles at some time.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The style is ‘Keats’ – Church’s iconic tassel loafer – just beautifully proportioned. These were built on the 93 Last.
The width fitting is ‘E’ – which is the ‘narrower-than-standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature bookbinder leather uppers, leather soles, full leather linings and offer the usual Church’s build quality.
