CHURCH'S VINTAGE OXFORD MEN’S SHOES - BLACK – UK 8.5 – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A very fine, vintage pair of Church’s iconic cap-toe oxford shoes in beautiful black calf leather. A lovely example of a Church’s classic. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). This pair have been professionally fitted with ‘Vibram’ non-slip rubber over-soles and are unworn since.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The width fitting is ‘G’ – which is the ‘wider-than-standard’ width fitting. This pair were built on the classic 84 Last.
The shoes feature leather soles (with brand new ‘Vibram’ non-slip rubber over-soles), calf leather uppers, lightweight leather / linen linings and all the build-quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
