JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE DERBY – BLACK – UK 10.5 – COLUMBIA – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A super, elegant pair of vintage Joseph Cheaney five-eyelet derby shoes in beautiful black calf leather. They are in excellent used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). This is a very rare design from Cheaney – so, you will be unlikely to meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you (always a nice feeling, I think).
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney’s in nice condition then you are probably finding some of the best shoes around.
The style is ‘Columbia’ – a beautifully elegant design.
The width fitting is ‘F’ - which is a ‘standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature calf leather uppers, full leather linings and leather soles.
Wonderful quality shoes from a traditional English shoemaker.
