CHURCH'S VINTAGE DERBY – BROWN / TAN CALF – UK 10.5 – LAMBERT – WORN ONCE
A super (and very rare) pair of vintage three-eyelet plain front derby shoes in brown / tan calf leather from Church’s. They are in superb used condition and have been carefully worn and well looked after – in fact, I would say that the shoes have only been worn on one occasion – ever !!
The ‘Lambert’ design is not one that you will see very often at all – and possibly never again in this condition - so, you will be most unlikely to ever meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you - always a nice feeling, I think.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The width fitting is ‘E’ - which is the ‘narrower-than-standard’ width fitting. The shoes were built on the 54 Last.
The shoes feature calf leather uppers, lightweight leather / linen linings, leather soles and all the hand-built quality one would expect from Church’s.
Wonderful quality shoes from a traditional English shoemaker.
