JOSEPH CHEANEY MONK STRAP SHOES – BROWN / TAN – UK 8 – NICKY – SUPERB CONDITION
A super, vintage pair of Joseph Cheaney single monk strap shoes in beautiful chestnut calf leather – perfect for dressing-up or dressing-down. They are in superb used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). The shoes are in their original box, complete with dust bags.
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The style is ‘Nicky’ – beautifully proportioned and an iconic Cheaney design.
The width fitting is ‘F’ - which is the ‘standard’ fitting (with ‘E’ being the ‘narrower’ width and ‘G’ being ‘wider’).
The shoes feature calf leather uppers, gold-coloured buckles, full leather linings and leather soles.
