JOSEPH CHEANEY BROGUES – BROWN / TAN – UK 8 – AVON – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A super pair of four-eyelet full-brogue derby shoes in beautiful chestnut burnished calf leather – perfect town-and-country footwear. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). The shoes feature weather-resistant storm welts - handy in wetter conditions. This pair were fitted with rubber over-soles when new but these have been removed to reveal the original leather soles beneath (which remain unworn).
The style is ‘Avon’ – a beautifully proportioned and very comfortable town-and-country brogue.
The width fitting is ‘F’ - which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature thick leather soles, burnished calf leather uppers, weather-resistant storm welts, full leather linings and all the quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker – super !
