CHURCH’S BROGUES – BLACK CAVIAR CALF - UK 9 – BURSTOCK - SUPERB CONDITION
A super (and very rare) pair of cap-toe, semi-brogue oxford shoes in beautiful caviar-grained calf leather from Church’s – perfect for dressing-up or dressing-down. They are in superb used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos)
The style is ‘Burstock’ – a rare and beautifully proportioned oxford design; featuring a six-eyelet lacing arrangement and built on the 108 Last, both of which serve to increase the elegant lines of this design in my opinion. Also, you will be very unlikely to ever meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a nice feeling in my opinion.
The width fitting is ‘G’ - which is the ‘wider-than-standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature leather soles, caviar-grained calf leather uppers, lightweight leather / linen linings and Church’s ‘Flex’ construction – plus all the build-quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
