JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE BROGUES – BLACK – UK 9.5 – SUPERB CONDITION
A super pair of vintage full-brogue oxford shoes in beautiful black calf leather from Joseph Cheaney – a lovely example of classic English footwear and never out-of-place. They are in superb used condition, overall – notwithstanding a a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos).
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The width fitting is ‘G’ – which is the ‘wider-than-standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature leather soles, calf leather uppers, lightweight leather / linen linings and all the build-quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
