JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE OXFORD - BLACK - UK 7 – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A very fine (and rare) pair of cap-toe oxford shoes in beautiful black calf leather from Joseph Cheaney. This pair were made for, and retailed by, Gieves and Hawkes, Savile Row, London and are built to Cheaney’s premium ‘Imperial’ range specifications. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there – mainly at the toes (see photos). This is a very rare design to find - so, you will be very unlucky to ever meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a nice feeling, I think.
But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!
The width fitting is ‘F’ – which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature close-channelled leather soles, calf leather uppers and full leather linings.
