CHURCH’S BROGUES – UNLINED BLACK CALF LEATHER - UK 7 – BURWOOD H – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A very fine (and very rare) pair of unlined Custom Grade full-brogue oxford shoes in beautiful, soft, black calf leather from Church’s. They are in excellent used condition overall - notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). These shoes are unlined so that air can flow freely through the punched perforations, making them particularly comfortable in warmer conditions. This is unlined version of a Church’s classic and is very rare to see – so, you will be very unlucky to meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a nice feeling, I think.
The width fitting is ‘G’ – which is the ‘wider-than-standard’ width fitting.
The style is ‘Burwood H’ – an iconic full-brogue design and one of Church’s best known shoes. This pair were formed on the 81 Last. The Burwood design is still very much part of Church’s own current range – though not in this unlined form - and they retail at around the £720 mark.
The shoes feature soft calf leather uppers, leather soles and all the build-quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
