JOSEPH CHEANEY BROGUES – BLACK – UK 8 – PARKINSON - EXCELLENT CONDITION
A super (and rare) pair of full-brogue cap-toe oxford shoes from Joseph Cheaney in beautiful black calf leather – never out-of-place. They are in excellent used condition, overall and have been carefully worn and well looked-after – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). This pair were fitted with rubber over-soles when new but these have been removed to reveal the original leather soles beneath (see photos). The shoes are in their original box complete with a set of ‘Cheaney’ dust bags. This design is very rare to find, so you will be highly unlikely to ever meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you - always a nice feeling, I think.
The width fitting is ‘F’, which is the ‘standard’ width fitting (with ‘G’ being the ‘wider’ width and ‘E’ being ‘narrower’).
The style is ‘Parkinson’ – beautifully proportioned and very elegant.
The shoes feature leather soles, calf leather uppers, full leather linings and all the build- quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
