CROCKETT & JONES VINTAGE VELDTSCHOEN DERBY – BROWN - UK 8 - VELDT – SUPERB CONDITION
A super (and very rare) pair of vintage cap-toe derby shoes in beautiful brown / scotch-grained calf leather from Crockett & Jones. They are in superb used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). These shoes feature bellows tongues and veldtschoen construction – ideal in wetter conditions.
The width fitting is ‘EX’ – which is a ‘standard’ width fitting.
The style is ‘Veldt’ – perfect town-and-country footwear; built on the 232 Last.
The shoes feature scotch-grained calf leather uppers, leather soles, bellows tongues, veldtschoen construction and lightweight lether / linen linings - top quality from this traditional English shoemaker.
