ALFRED SARGENT TASSEL LOAFERS – BROWN / TAN – UK 8 – LAMPORT -EXCELLENT CONDITION
A very fine pair of tassel loafers in beautiful brown / tan calf leather from Alfred Sargent – perfect for dressing-up or dressing-down. This pair were made for, and retailed by, Shipton & Heneage, London. They are in excellent used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). These shoes feature close-channelled leather soles and are from the premium end of Sargent’s output – this pair have been professionally fitted with rubber over-soles (probably when new judging from the look of the original soles beneath) and with quarter-rubber leather heel pieces (which are brand new and unworn)
The shoes feature calf leather uppers, close-channelled leather soles (with rubber over-soles), full leather linings and offer the usual Sargent build quality.
Width fitting is ‘EX’ – which is a ‘standard’ width fitting.
The style is 'Lamport’ - a classically proportioned, elegant loafer.
Real style from one of England’s finest shoe makers.
