JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE DERBY – BROWN – UK 8.5 – LYDD – WORN ONCE
A super pair of vintage Joseph Cheaney plain-front derby shoes in beautiful brown calf leather – easily dressed-up or dressed-down. They are in superb used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos) - in fact, these shoes are barely worn at all – I would estimate on just one occasion – ever !! The shoes are in their original box.
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney’s in nice condition then you are probably finding some of the best shoes around.
The style is ‘Lydd’ – an elegant and traditional two-eyelet derby.
The width fitting is ‘E’ - which is a ‘narrower-than-standard’ width fitting
The shoes feature calf leather uppers, lightweight leather / linen linings and leather soles.
