ALFRED SARGENT OXFORD – BLACK – UK 8 – TOBY – WORN ONCE

A super (and very elegant) pair of five-eyelet plain-front oxford shoes in beautiful black calf leather with contrasting grained leather sections from Alfred Sargent – perfect for dressing-up or dressing-down. This pair were made for, and retailed by, Shipton & Heneage, London. They are in superb used condition overall - notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos) – in fact, these shoes are barely worn at all – I would estimate on just the one occasion – ever !! They are in their original box.

The shoes feature calf leather uppers, leather soles  and full leather linings (in soft black calf) and offer the usual Sargent build quality.

Width fitting is ‘EX’ – which is a ‘standard’ width fitting.

The style is 'Toby' – beautifully proportioned, with a squared toe-line and discreet, contrasting grained leather sections at the around the lace holes and at the heels – very neat.

Real style from one of England’s finest shoe makers.
