CHURCH’S VINTAGE BROGUES – BROWN / TAN – UK 9 – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A very fine (and rare) pair of vintage full-brogue oxford shoes in beautiful brown / tan calf leather from Church’s. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). The patina on these shoes is super – only time and TLC will achieve it and it is developing very nicely on these vintage shoes.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The width fitting is ‘F’ - which is the ‘standard’ width fitting. They were built on the 84 Last.
The shoes feature leather soles, calf leather uppers and lightweight leather / linen linings - plus all the hand-built quality that one expects from this top English shoemaker.
