JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE VELDTSCHOEN DERBY – BROWN / TAN – UK 9.5 – UNWORN CONDITION
A super pair of vintage Joseph Cheaney four-eyelet derby shoes in beautiful brown / tan calf leather – perfect town and country footwear. They are in immaculate condition, overall – I have listed them as ‘used’ because they may have been tried-on, but I don’t actually think that they have been. They are in their original box.
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney’s in nice condition then you are probably finding some of the best shoes around.
But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!
The width fitting is ‘F’ – which is the ‘standard’ width fitting. Altogether a beautifully proportioned, traditional town-and-country derby ‘tramper’.
The shoes feature calf leather uppers, veldtschoen construction, bellows tongues, full leather linings and leather soles.
