CHURCH’S BROGUES – BROWN – CHEPSTOW – UK9 – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A very fine (and rare) pair of Church’s cap-toe, full-brogue oxford shoes in a combination of smooth and caviar-grained dark brown calf leather. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). This is a rare design to find and you will be extremely unlucky to ever meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a good feeling, I think. This pair have been professionally fitted with brand new ‘Vibram’ non-slip rubber over-soles and are unworn since.
The style is ‘Chepstow’ – a beautifully proportioned and elegant design - this pair were formed on the wonderful 100 Last.
The width fitting is ‘F’ – which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature leather soles (with brand new ‘Vibram’ non-slip rubber over-soles), uppers in a combination of smooth and caviar-grained calf leather, full leather linings and all the build-quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
