ALFRED SARGENT VELDTSCHOEN DERBY – BROWN - UK 7.5 – CALDBECK – WORN ONCE
A super pair of cap-toe derby shoes in pebble grained brown calf leather from Alfred Sargent – perfect town-and-country footwear. They are in superb used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos) – and, in fact, I would estimate that the shoes have been worn on just one occasion – ever !! These shoes feature the weather-resistant veldtschoen construction and bellows tongues – a handy combination in damper conditions.
The width fitting is ‘FX’ – which is the ‘wider-than-standard’ width fitting.
The style is ‘Caldbeck’ - a traditional and robust five-eyelet, town-and-country derby.
The shoes feature leather soles, pebble-grained calf leather uppers, weather-resistant veldtschoen construction, bellows tongues and full leather linings.
