CHURCH’S VINTAGE BROGUES – BROWN / TAN - UK 8.5 – CROMWELL –WORN ONCE
A super (and very rare) pair of vintage, Custom Grade four-eyelet cap-toe semi-brogue derby shoes in ‘light tan’ bookbinder leather from Church’s – perfect for town or country wear. They are in superb used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos) – in fact, these shoes are very little worn at all – I would estimate on just one occasion – ever !! The shoes are in their original box.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So - vintage shoes, such as these from Church, really are some of the nicest shoes around.
The width fitting is ‘F’ – which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.
The style is 'Cromwell' – a beautifully proportioned town & country derby. This pair were formed on the popular 73 Last.
The shoes feature leather soles, bookbinder leather uppers and full leather linings and offer all the quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
