CHURCH’S VINTAGE BROGUES – BROWN / TAN - UK 8 – CROMWELL -EXCELLENT CONDITION
A super, vintage pair of Custom Grade four-eyelet cap-toe semi-brogue derby shoes in brown / tan bookbinder leather from Church’s – perfect for town or country wear. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). This pair have been fitted with ‘Vibram’ non-slip rubber over-soles from new.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So - vintage shoes, such as these from Church, really are some of the nicest shoes around.
The style is 'Cromwell' – a beautifully proportioned town & country derby. This pair were formed on the popular 73 Last.
The shoes feature leather soles (with ‘Vibram’ non-slip rubber over-soles), bookbinder leather uppers and full leather linings and offer all the quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
