CHURCH’S VINTAGE TASSEL LOAFERS – BROWN / TAN – UK 9.5 – DORCHESTER - EXCELLENT CONDITION
A super (and rare) pair of vintage, Custom Grade tassel loafers in beautiful brown / tan calf leather from Church’s - perfect for dressing-up or dressing-down. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). The ‘Dorchester’ is a rare design to find and you will be very unlikely to meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a nice feeling I think. This pair have been professionally fitted with brand new ‘Dainite’ rubber soles and heels and are unworn since.
In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The width fitting is ‘F’ – which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.
The style is ‘Dorchester’ – a very elegant design featuring some lovely punched detailing around the uppers and a kilty fringe (also with punched detailing) – as well as the tassel detailing – very nice indeed. This pair were built on the 26 Last.
The shoes feature calf leather uppers, brand new ‘Dainite’ rubber soles, full leather linings and offer the usual Church’s build quality.
