JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE BROGUES – BLACK – UK 8.5 – CULFORD – VERY GOOD CONDITION
A very fine pair of vintage full-brogue oxford shoes in beautiful black calf leather from Joseph Cheaney. They are in very good used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos).
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaneys in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The style is ‘Culford’ – the design features very elegant, slim lines.
The width fitting is ‘F’ – which is a ‘standard’ width fitting.
The shoes feature leather soles, calf leather uppers, lightweight leather / linen linings and all the build-quality that one expects from this traditional English shoemaker.
