JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE CHUKKA BOOTS – BLACK – UK 10 – DEGAS – EXCELLENT CONDITION
A super, vintage pair of gentleman’s chukka boots from Joseph Cheaney in black calf leather. This pair are from Cheaney’s premium ‘Signature’ range. They are in excellent used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos).
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!
The width fitting is ‘F’, which is the standard fitting (with ‘G’ being the ‘wider’ width and ‘E’ being ‘narrower’).
The boots feature leather soles, calf leather uppers and full leather linings.
The style is ‘Degas’ – practical and beautifully proportioned.
