JOSEPH CHEANEY VINTAGE DERBY – BROWN - UK 7 – RYE – SUPERB CONDITION
A super, vintage pair of Joseph Cheaney three-eyelet, plain-front derby shoes in beautiful brown calf leather – never out-of-place. They are in superb used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos).
In my opinion, although modern-day Cheaney shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Cheaney’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.
The width fitting is ‘G’ - which is the ‘wider-than-standard’ width fitting.
The style is ‘Rye’ - a traditional three-eyelet derby – never out-of-place and easily dressed-up or dressed-down.
The shoes feature leather soles, calf leather uppers and lightweight leather / linen linings.
Top quality from this traditional English shoemaker.
